Volleyball Recap: Sierra Finds Home Court Redemption Against Edison

There's no place like home for Sierra, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Edison Tigers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Sierra was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-10, 22-25, 26-28, 25-10, 15-10.

Brooke Gibson had a dynamite game, getting 27 assists and ten digs. Those 27 assists gave her a new career-high.

Sierra's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Edison, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sierra will welcome Torres at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will face off against Caruthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
