Soccer Recap: Cherokee County Comes Up Short

Cherokee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Hope Indians.

Cherokee County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for New Hope, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Cherokee County by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
