Volleyball Game Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Eastside Eagles + How To Watch

The Riverside Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Eastside Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat James F. Byrnes and fell 3-2.

Riverside wouldn't go down easily and took James F. Byrnes into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 21-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Eastside narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Gaffney 3-2.

Eastside was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 14-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Eastside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-16-1 record this season. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Riverside was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastside in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
