Greensboro Day School waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed a 68-62 win over the Trinity Academy Tigers. Given the Bengals' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Tigers are ranked 79th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greensboro Day School is also on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Trinity Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Greensboro Day School will take on Caldwell Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Greensboro Day School likes a good challenge. As for Trinity Academy, they will challenge St. David's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. David's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
