The Southern Missouri RUSH * scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Jefferson Independent Day on the road to the tune of 94-16. Southern Missouri RUSH has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Jefferson Independent Day struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.
The win (which was Southern Missouri RUSH's fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Jefferson Independent Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Southern Missouri RUSH will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
