Cedar Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-8 to the Mifflin County Huskies. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Colts' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Brooke Capozzoli stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alaina Tarnoci, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Cedar Cliff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mifflin County, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5-1 record.

Cedar Cliff and Mifflin County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings.
