Basketball Recap: Garinger Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Garinger challenged Providence on Tuesday. The Garinger Wildcats were beaten by the Providence Panthers 59-25. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Providence found their leader in freshman Emma Fuller, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Avery Detenber was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Garinger's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Providence, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garinger will face off against Rocky River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
