Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Eagles vs. Coral Springs Charter Panthers
Calvary Christian Academy lost against Coral Springs Charter back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Calvary Christian Academy Eagles took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Springs Charter Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taryn Wakefield, who posted 14 points. That was a full 37.8% of Calvary Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiersten Foster, who put up nine points.
Calvary Christian Academy's record now sits at 5-7. As for Coral Springs Charter, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
