Basketball Recap: Mead Mavericks vs. Legacy Lightning
Mead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 65-54 to the Legacy Lightning. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lightning apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Despite the loss, Mead still got an impressive performance from Matthew Angelo, who went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points along with seven assists and five boards. Angelo's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
