The Liberty Bell Mountain Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Liberty Bell is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Pateros on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Liberty Bell was beaten by Pateros 56-26. The Mountain Lions haven't had much luck with the Billygoats/Nannies recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Almira-Coulee-Hartline was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna and fell 65-24. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Liberty Bell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Liberty Bell strolled past Almira-Coulee-Hartline in their previous matchup back in May of 2021 by a score of 61-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty Bell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
