Basketball Recap: Tri-City Comes Up Short

Tri-City lost against Athens back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tri-City Tornadoes fell just short of the Athens Warriors by a score of 36-34.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-City lost, don't look at RJ Sullivan. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Sullivan a new career-high.

Tri-City has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season. Athens' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-17.

As of now, neither Tri-City nor Athens have any future games scheduled.
