James Stampley Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Saturday, Kankakee got the W thanks in part to James Stampley playing the best football he has all season. Stampley picked up 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Bloom, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Stampley. Stampley rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Blazing Trojan duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kankakee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Phillip Turner. Bloom had no answer to Turner as he threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.

Cedric Terrell and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Cedric Terrell was instrumental in extending Kankakee's winning streak to six on Saturday. Terrell was unstoppable, rushing for 22 yards and a touchdown.

Rich Township's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4. Johnson and Rich Township will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln-Way Central at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
