Recap: Calhoun Yellow Jackets vs. Excel Christian Academy Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrison, the Calhoun Yellow Jackets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Excel Christian Academy 85-62. With Calhoun ahead 51-31 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Calhoun's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jace Johns, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Blake Hammett, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Calhoun's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Excel Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

As for Excel Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shiloh Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Shiloh Hills Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 749 points over their last 11 games.
