Lily Gornowich and Lila Ostowski certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Gornowich had 24 digs, while Ostowski had 20 digs. Gornowich is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Memphis' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-21. As for Harbor Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16-1 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Capac the next time they take the court. Harbor Beach will host Capac at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Memphis will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
