Softball Recap: Highland Prep Comes Up Short

Highland Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-1 to the Tonopah Valley Phoenix.

Highland Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Highland Prep now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Tonopah Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Highland Prep will square off against Yuma Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tonopah Valley, they will face off against Chino Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
