Flag Football Recap: Grayslake North Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Grayslake North and McHenry squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Grayslake North had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Warriors, falling 52-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-12 back in August.

Leading McHenry to victory were Brooklyn Anderson and Addison Hoffman. Anderson threw for 216 yards and five TDs while completing 73.3% of her passes, while Hoffman picked up 106 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Anderson a new career-high in passer rating (154.9). Morgan Frederick was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and one score.

Grayslake North is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13. As for McHenry, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

As of now, neither Grayslake North nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
