Basketball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

If Bluffton was feeling good fresh off their 58-22 takedown of Lima Central Catholic last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluffton Pirates fell 63-55 to the Start Spartans on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Spartans are ranked 105th).

Bluffton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Start, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Bluffton has already played their next contest (against Lincolnview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Start has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Springfield.
