Southside Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers by a score of 4-1.

Cole Atkins was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Will Cauthen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Southside Christian's record now sits at 8-1. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.
