Pierce is a perfect 9-0 against Paradise since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Pierce sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Colusa. The Bears haven't had any issues with the RedHawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Pierce wouldn't go down easily and took Colusa into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 21-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Paradise got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Winters by a score of 3-1.

Paradise had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 29-27, 25-22.

Paradise's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Pierce, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8.

Pierce took their win against Paradise when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
