Baseball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

Eastern Greene hit Perry Central with a four-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Commodores took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbirds. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perry Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Eastern Greene, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Perry Central will welcome Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Commodores are facing the Wolfpack at the right time seeing as the Wolfpack are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Eastern Greene, they have already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Heritage Hills on the 10th.
