Baseball Recap: Truckee Wolverines vs. Wooster Colts
After losing to Wooster the last time they met, Truckee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Truckee Wolverines came out on top against the Wooster Colts by a score of 8-5 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Parker Bacon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Keelan Hyams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Truckee: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
