 Elkmont and Colbert Heights are an even 3-3 against one another  since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Elkmont Red Devils will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against the Colbert Heights Wildcats at 11:00  a.m. The last three games Elkmont has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 Elkmont fought the good fight in their extra-innings  contest against Brewer  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  4-3 to the Patriots, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

 Meanwhile, Colbert Heights earned  an  11-7 win over Phil Campbell  on Saturday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Colbert Heights.
 Elkmont's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-10. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the  losses came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Colbert Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.
