Softball Recap: Tharptown Comes Up Short

Tharptown lost against Belgreen back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Tharptown fell 8-4 to Belgreen. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Tharptown's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Belgreen, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tharptown will take on Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Danville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Tharptown's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Belgreen, they will square off against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 3.
