 Duluth East can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres. This was payback for Duluth East, who suffered  an  11-7  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Jack Teachworth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.
 At the plate,  Curran Conrad was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Spoden, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Duluth East's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Brainerd the next time they take the field. Sartell-St. Stephen will  host Brainerd at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Duluth East will head out to face them  at 1:30  p.m.  on Friday.
