Football Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short at Home Against Timberlake

Cherokee unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberlake Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Coming up, Cherokee will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Timberlake, they will look to defend their home field on September 5 against Ringwood at 7:00 p.m.
