Baseball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-1 loss last Wednesday.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North Myrtle Beach, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Conway didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-3 win against Myrtle Beach on the 24th. As for North Myrtle Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Socastee on the 24th.
