Softball Game Preview: Union Yellowjackets vs. West Marion Trojans

For the second straight game, Union will face off against West Marion. The Yellowjackets will welcome the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Union is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let West Marion get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

Not much got past Aubrie Coleman, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep West Marion off the board. Coleman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Union saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Destiny Moulds, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Union's win bumped their record up to 18-13-1. As for West Marion, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 21-9 record.
