Bangor came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders by a score of 5-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-1 victory last Monday.

Jaxson Kreider was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Chayse Panczer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Bangor's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.
