Basketball Recap: Deckerville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deckerville was the 78-56 winner over Ubly when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost to the Bearcats on the road by a 50-33 margin on Friday.

Ubly's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Franzel, who posted 14 points and six boards.

Deckerville has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Ubly, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8.

Deckerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ubly, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
