Soccer Recap: Ligonier Valley Comes Up Short

Ligonier Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Seton LaSalle Rebels, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Seton LaSalle this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in August.

Ligonier Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Seton LaSalle, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Looking ahead, Ligonier Valley will challenge Steel Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seton LaSalle has already played their next contest (against West Allegheny), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
