Basketball Recap: Holly Takes a Loss

Holly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 56-4 defeat at the hands of the Flushing Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bronchos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while the Raiders are ranked 187th).

Holly's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Flushing, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Holly has already played their next game (against Kearsley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Flushing will challenge Swartz Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Flushing's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Swartz Creek's offense will have their work cut out for them.
