Timberlake Christian won the last time they faced Eastern Mennonite and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tornadoes blew past the Flames 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tornadoes.

Timberlake Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Lydia Kelley and Grace Minor, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Siam Conway and her 27 assists. Avery Cloran controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Timberlake Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Eastern Mennonite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Timberlake Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Westover Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Eastern Mennonite, they will square off against Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
