Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Shenandoah and Alexandria-Monroe, and Alexandria-Monroe kept the tradition alive. The Raiders fell 3-1 to the Tigers on Wednesday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 16-25, 25-21.

Shenandoah now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Shenandoah has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Anderson on the 21st. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against University on the 21st.
