Basketball Recap: Sumter County Piles Up the Points Against Hardaway

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Sumter County on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Hardaway Hawks out of the water with a 54-23 final score. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Hawks are ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristan Jackson, who posted five points. Another player making a difference was Sergio Lowe, who put up four points.
