Softball Recap: Nine Straight Home Victories for Sports Leadership & Management

Sports Leadership & Management won against Valley on Wednesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bulls blew past The Meadows School Mustangs 17-2. The victory was nothing new for the Bulls as they're now sitting on three straight.

Carmen Castro was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Sonny Johnson was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Sports Leadership & Management always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .900. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

Sports Leadership & Management pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for The Meadows School, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.
