Basketball Recap: Oxford Falls Short of Hernando in the Playoffs

Oxford and Hernando squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Oxford had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hernando Tigers by a score of 48-45. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Hernando, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hernando, they will take on Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
