Doniphan-Trumbull is a perfect 10-0 against Arcadia/Loup City since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals will venture away from home to take on the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels at 7:15 p.m. Doniphan-Trumbull is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.4 points per game this season.

Despite their defeat, Doniphan-Trumbull saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Parker Volk, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 boards, was perhaps the best of all. With that strong performance, Volk is now averaging an impressive 8 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Jack Poppe, who posted 12 points.
Meanwhile, Arcadia/Loup City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Centura.
Despite the defeat, Arcadia/Loup City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eli Jaixen scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Lewandowski, who earned six points and 11 boards.
Doniphan-Trumbull's record now sits at 14-6. As for Arcadia/Loup City, their record is now 7-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Doniphan-Trumbull has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Arcadia/Loup City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Doniphan-Trumbull against Arcadia/Loup City when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-28 win. In that game, Doniphan-Trumbull amassed a halftime lead of 40-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
