Volleyball Recap: Sierra Pacific Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sierra Pacific was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Reedley Pirates, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 1st.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 25-10.

Reedley found their leader in sophomore Kaylie Thiesen, who had 26 assists and four digs. Thiesen is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Giuliana Jurado, who had nine digs and one assist.

Sierra Pacific's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Reedley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Sierra Pacific will challenge Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reedley, they will take on Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
