Softball Recap: Cape Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Cape Elizabeth was the 6-3 winner over Greely when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Capers came up short against the Rangers on Wednesday, falling 11-1.

Cape Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Greely, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cape Elizabeth will face off against rival Lake Region at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greely is set to square off against their familiar foe Wells at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
