Basketball Recap: Green Ridge Comes Up Short

If Green Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 51-25 takedown of La Monte last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Ridge Tigers fell 54-44 to the Lincoln Cardinals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-31 last Tuesday.

Green Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Green Ridge will face off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Lincoln, they have already played their next contest, a 52-26 victory against Sacred Heart on the 7th.
