Seward took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Norris, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bluejays narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Titans 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Bluejays: when they faced off against the Titans back in March, they had to take a 15-5 loss.
Kolton Loos was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyan Schadwinkel, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Seward has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Norris, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 19-10.
As of now, neither Seward nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
