Basketball Recap: Maypearl Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Maypearl won the last time they faced Clifton and things went their way on Friday too. The Maypearl Panthers put the hurt on the Clifton Cubs with a sharp 56-31 win.

Despite the loss, Clifton still got an impressive performance from Addison Martin, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Brystel Wise was another key player, putting up four points.

Maypearl pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Clifton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Maypearl won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Holland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clifton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 41-20 win against Varsity Opponent on the 27th.
