Soccer Game Preview: Christian Fellowship vs. Eugene

Christian Fellowship will square off against the Eugene Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Christian Fellowship made easy work of Fulton and carried off a 6-1 victory. Fans of Christian Fellowship have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

While Eugene didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Stover on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Eugene have won by just one goal.

Eugene pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Christian Fellowship, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
