Volleyball Recap: Whiteland Takes a Loss

Whiteland lost against Franklin Community back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Grizzly Cubs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Whiteland ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Franklin Community can attribute much of their success to Titus Cross, who had nine digs and two aces.

Whiteland's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Franklin Community, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coincidentally, Whiteland and Franklin Community will both be playing Greenwood the next time they take the court. The Grizzly Cubs will head out to face the Woodmen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
