Basketball Recap: Thorp Takes a Loss

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 31st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 55-35 to the Spencer Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 42-27 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Spencer, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.

Thorp will head out to face off against Lake Holcombe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spencer, they will square off against Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Greenwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Spencer surely won't give up without a fight.
