Pymatuning Valley extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Zoey Painter. The Pymatuning Valley Lakers secured a 61-55 W over the Grand Valley Mustangs on Thursday thanks in part to Painter, who posted 20 points and four steals. She has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Tisch, who had six points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Pymatuning Valley pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Grand Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Pymatuning Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-18 win against Brookfield on the 25th. Grand Valley has also already played their next game, a 74-48 victory against Conneaut on the 25th.
