Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hammondsport). They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Friendship Golden Eagles on Tuesday. The Lakers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10th (when they won 17-2).

With the win, Hammondsport broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-13. As for Friendship, their defeat was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Golden Eagles beat Hammondsport by a score of 7-5 later that day.
