Basketball Game Preview: Minster Wildcats vs. Memorial Roughriders

Having just played yesterday, the Minster Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Memorial Roughriders at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Minster knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Memorial likes a good challenge.

Minster is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since January 14th on Friday. They blew past New Knoxville 62-35. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Memorial). They strolled past Kenton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-48.

Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Minster, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Minster took a serious blow against Memorial in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 67-28. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Minster was down 37-10.
