Football Recap: Guilford Beats Hononegah for Their Third Straight Win

Guilford hadn't done well against Hononegah recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Vikings came out on top against the Indians by a score of 17-10. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hononegah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Guilford will challenge rival Harlem at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 13.8, the Huskies 4.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hononegah is set to square off against their familiar foe Freeport at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
