Genesee is 0-8 against Bendle since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Genesee Wolves will host the Bendle Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Bendle took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Genesee, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with 19 losses in a row dating back to last season, Genesee turned things around against Flint Southwestern Academy on Friday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 45-35.

Genesee's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Qusai Bannoura, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Bannoura a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aydin Cooper, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.
Genesee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bendle lost to New Standard Academy on the road by a 70-53 margin on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.
Genesee will need focus on slowing down AJ Patterson, one of several Bendle players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points. Patterson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Mattis, who posted 12 points and six boards.
Genesee's victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-15. As for Bendle, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Genesee has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bendle struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Genesee might still be hurting after the 66-41 defeat they got from Bendle in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bendle's Juma Mkakile, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
